this morning i pleased my dear workingroom-mate christoph by doing a quick illustration for the studentmagazine "hastduzeit" of the university of halle. the article is about university-elections...

3 acrylic-on-paper-pictures i did as a test for the "favouritesong"project in halle. more like a mood-board. its like going back to my edding-roots without edding. each picture must be 30,5 x 24 cm and so its quite a challenge for me. we have to do one drawing/painting each day. i dont know... maybe i will change "my song" and try some aereogramme-stuff. here you can watch the song, beeing performed by gravenhurst live. even when it may appear a bit conventional compared to some other artymusicstuff... i love this song, so...

Die Katastrophen von Sofias Puppe

Some weeks ago i finally finished the german version of Sofia. My portuguese friend Hugo Dunkel helped me very patiently with the translation that ended up to be a bit more "free" than i expected. but it fits good to the pictures and i love the paper. thanks to the guys at rotopol. without their offer to publish the book i wouldn't have finished it so "fast"...

Last Holy-Friday the "BÄÄÄÄÄM" took place at the GALERIE LOYAL Kassel and i am glad that we took some fotos of our cardboardheads right before the event startet. I dont know if they are still alive and what happened with them. What i know is, that everyone was quite excited about them and that they made us very proud. Thank you, confused cardboardbox-guys! Thank you, Lea and Leo for making this happen!
